Laboratory Benches
Laboratory benches are designed in different sizes and features according to their usage characteristics. Bench depths, according to the characteristics of the devices and equipment to be used on it:
Wall Bench | Island Benches |
---|---|
600 mm | 1200 mm |
750 mm | 1500 mm |
900 mm | 1800 mm |
They are designed to be. Apart from these dimensions, optional bench types such as 830 mm deep Edge Bench and 830 x 2 = 1660 mm deep Middle Bench can be made in Instrumental laboratories that require special use. It is obligatory to have an energy panel or service unit in this type of benches.
Edge benches with a depth of 600 mm and a height of 750 mm:
Side benches with a depth of 600 mm and a height of 750 mm are generally used in dry environments where sitting is working. If 600 mm-deep benches are to be used without an energy panel or service unit, gas, water, electricity, etc. A systematic distribution of services is impossible. If this type of service is needed, it should definitely be used connected to the energy panel or service unit.

C – Type Carrier Construction
C – Type Carrier Construction forms the skeleton of laboratory benches and the weight of both the system and the devices to be used on the bench is not carried over to the lower cabinets. It is produced as disassembled from 30 x 60 x 2 mm box profile, after being painted with anti acid epoxy paint, it is baked at 200 degrees. Apart from this, the rear part of the construction facing the wall is designed in such a way that the infrastructure installations to be used in the system can pass and can be easily mounted. Bench lower cabinets are mounted suspended in this system or move mobile within the system. The most important feature that this system provides to the users is that when necessary, hanging cabinets and rear panels without any carrier feature can be easily removed and the installations at the back can be intervened. C-Type carrier construction lengths vary between 450 and 1800 mm. These modules are used systematically according to the bench lengths in the project to be implemented.

In the parts of the side legs of the carrier system that contact the ground, there are screwed rigid PVC bases designed for both height balance adjustment and to prevent corrosion. Together with these floors, the construction height is 720 mm for sitting benches and 870 mm for standing benches.

If the bench to be built is to be mounted on a separate energy panel on the wall or in the middle, the back parts of the side legs are designed to be mounted to this energy panel as demounted. In this way, the machine can be easily disassembled and completely separated from the energy panel when necessary. In this way, it is possible to make larger interventions to the installations.
The back of the parts, which are not cabinets and are generally used as seating spaces, are covered with metal panels from the back level of the cabinets. If the cabinets are not fixed with hangers and will be used as mobile, this time the rear installation space is closed with complete metal panels. In this way, the installation gap at the back is closed in a decorative way. There are metal panels on the right and left end parts of the carrier construction that will close the rear installation space from the side. These panels are of the same standard for both wall-mount and panel-mount worktops.

Material | Horizontal and vertical carriers are made of 40x 60 x 2 mm box profile, after the surface is cleaned and painted with anti acid epoxy, they are baked at 200 C. On the lower parts of the vertical legs that are in contact with the ground, there are height-adjustable soles made of rigid PVC. In this way, the bench height can be adjusted between -10/ +20 mm according to the slope of the floor. After the seating space and bench were made and painted with anti-epoxy paint, it was baked at 200 C. |

Stainless Steel Worktops
Complete Stainless Steel Worktops: All models in our Laboratory Bench portfolio can be made of 316 AISI Cr/Ni Stainless Steel upon request.
In this case, C-Type Carrier construction, Bench Bottom Cabinets, Upper Work Table and Sinks will be completely Stainless steel, provided that the dimensions in other types are the same. Service Columns and Energy Panels, which we will examine in the following sections, can also be completely Stainless Steel.
Undoubtedly the most important part of Laboratory Benches Bench Surfaces is Bench surfaces vary according to the usage characteristics of the laboratories to be established. In a General Laboratory, Wet Chemistry, Instrumental Analysis, Microbiology etc. In the sections where different types of analyzes are made separately, it is necessary to use bench surfaces with different resistances. Our company has a wide range of products on counter surface. This diversity allows our customers to choose a suitable material according to the characteristics and purpose of each laboratory, without being dependent on a single product. Now let's see these alternatives and the areas where they are used. Test Reports will be given.
Laminate The bench surface is the bench surface that is formed by pressing 0.60 mm thick HPL laminate onto 30 mm thick MDF or chipboard depending on the place to be used, postforming the front part and making the side and rear edge finishings 3 mm PVC solid. In some cases, the square can be made of PVC solid. It is used in Dry benches and laboratory type work tables that do not require any chemical and wet analysis.
Playwood (Solid) The surface of the worktop is turned into a bench surface after a series of processes such as 25 mm thick hornbeam plywood or solid material, processing the edge finishing and surface polishing. This material is not a frequently used alternative in laboratories, it is only used in Heavy Duty desktops. If necessary, a vise can be attached to one side. Optionally, the surface can be covered with rubber or similar materials.
Compact Laminate Worktop surface, also known as High Pressure Laminated HPL (High Pressure Laminated) Phenolic Resin counter surface. Bench thicknesses vary between 12 and 20 mm. The outer surface layer is moderately resistant to acid environment. Apart from that, it is highly resistant to impacts, heat and water. It can be used safely in Physical and Instrumental Analysis Laboratories. It can be used in wet laboratories where intense acids are not used. Sinks can also be mounted on this surface from below.
Trespa Bench surface is also a Compact Laminate and Phenolic Resin counter surface. In addition to other Compacts, the outer surface layer is highly resistant to the acid environment. Bench thicknesses vary between 12 and 20 mm. Apart from that, it is highly resistant to impacts, heat and water. Apart from Physical and Instrumental Analysis Laboratories, it can also be used safely in Yas Chemistry Laboratories. Sinks can also be mounted on this surface from below.
Corian is a DuPont product and is a massive, non-porous, homogeneous surface consisting of 1/3 acrylic resin and 2/3 natural minerals. The natural main mineral is Aluminum Trihydrate, which is obtained from bauxite, a mineral ore from which aluminum is extracted. (ATH) Its thickness is 12 mm, with its application on 18 mm MDF, the bench thickness is 30 mm, in wet laboratories it is 37 mm with waterstop borders. It is used in Microbiology Laboratories as it has an anti-bacterial surface.
Stainless The surface of the counter is made of 316 AISI Cr/Ni stainless steel with a thickness of 1.00 and 1.20 mm, the finished countertop thickness is 30 mm, and with the waterstop elevations it is 37 mm. Inside, there are reinforcements that will strengthen the countertop surface from the same material. Since it is used especially in wet laboratories, a solid 100 mm backrest is made on the back. It is used in wet laboratories and Fume Hoods where tests are made with perchloric acid.
Epoxy Resin The counter surface is a chemical-based countertop surface that is completely produced as a block. It is a completely homogeneous material and is highly resistant to acid environment. In addition, it is highly resistant to impacts, heat and water. Although there are various thicknesses, the most suitable thickness is 19 mm and 25 mm with edge elevations. It can be used smoothly in Chemical Analysis Laboratories and Fume Hoods. Sink and drip cups are also available from the same material.
Stoneware Bench surface is also a solid, Industrial Ceramic countertop surface produced in blocks and manufactured in accordance with DIN EN 12916 Standards. Bench thickness is 26 mm, 33 mm with side elevations. The outer surface layer is highly resistant to acid environment. Apart from that, it is highly resistant to impacts, heat and water. It can be used smoothly in Chemical Analysis Laboratories and Fume Hoods. Sink and drip cups are also available from the same material.
