Draft Chamber

Draft Chambers are closed system Ventilated cabinets located on both Edge type and Medium type island benches. Although its function appears to be the same as with Fume Cupboards, it is used for the local evacuation of lighter gases, heat and odors that will be released during experiments and tests without spreading to the laboratory environment.

The heights and depths may vary according to the height and depth of the bench. The heights differ according to the 750 mm and 900 mm counter heights. The two sides of the cabins are fixed and the front parts are sliding glass system. The glasses used are also safe, Laminated or Tampered glass. The upper part and side frames are painted with anti-acid epoxy on galvanized metal.

The piping required for the exhaust discharge of the cabins is connected to the discharge outlet at the top and connected to the ventilators. If there will be a Service column on the bench to be deployed, its design is arranged accordingly. Apart from this, Electricity, Gas, Water etc. used on the counter. The services are directly connected to the counter and the usage features are the same as on the counters. In addition, there is a Fan Control switch that will control the Fan in the Exhaust system to which it is connected. It is a single cycle thermal system.

Cabinet depths are 750 /800 /900 mm for Side benches and 1500 /1600 /1800 mm for Center Benches. The height is 1200 / 1350 mm according to the bench height.
