Ventilation Systems

Ventilation System is the general definition of Ventilators and Exhaust piping connected to these units, which are used but also installed in order to evacuate the polluted air in all Fume Hoods, Draft Chambers, Hoods and Local Absorbs used in Exhaust Evacuation Systems. Accordingly, the Ventilation System;

  • Ventilators
  • Egzoz Boruları

Consists of two parts. We have different options according to usage characteristics. There are two types of ventilators as Snail Type and Channel Type. The body block of the Snail Type ventilators is completely Polypropylene and has a high resistance to acid vapors. Since the engines are mounted on the body block from the outside, they do not come into direct contact with the evacuated polluted gases and do not pose a danger. It is usually mounted on the roof or exterior wall of the building. The motor capacities of these fans, which have 5 different capacities as mouth diameters of 100 / 150 / 200 / 250 / 315, are also different according to their volumes. The suction capacities of the fans vary between 1100 m3/h and 4300 m3/h, depending on the models and types. They are selected according to the unit to be used and the pipe distance and applied to the system. It is mainly used in Fume Hoods, Hoods and Draft Chambers where high chemicals are used. The motors used in Polypropylene Fans can be filled with three-phase, and the air speed can be adjusted gradually with the Fan Control Unit (Inverter) to be mounted on the device or counter to be used. Explanatory information about the inverter can be seen in detail in the Fan Control System section of the Electrical Characteristics of Fume Hoods.

PVC Duct Type Fan

Duct Type ventilators are of two types, PVC and Galvanized. The motor capacities of these fans, which have 5 different capacities as mouth diameters of 100 / 150 / 200 / 250 / 315, are also different according to their volumes. The suction capacities of the fans vary between 255 m3/h and 2300 m3/h, depending on the models and types. They are selected according to the unit to be used and the pipe distance and applied to the system. Generally, it can be preferred in systems where less chemicals are used. This type of motors can be filled in monophase, and the air speed can be adjusted gradually with the 5-stage Fan Control unit to be mounted on the device or counter to be used. The energy cables required for the operation of all ventilators can be seen in the Electrical Specifications section of Fume Hoods.

Exhaust Pipes can also be made of 4 different materials, Spiral Clamped, Stainless Steel, Galvanized, Polypropylene and PVC, depending on their usage characteristics. Pipe diameters can be made as 75 /100 / 125 / 150 /200 / 250 / 315. Elbows, Tees, Reducers and collars to be used in piping are of the same materials. The parts where the exhaust pipes and the device and the pipes and the fans are connected are made with Flexible connectors and vibration is prevented. In duct type ventilators, the pipe distance can be maximum 5 m. In snail type fans, the pipe distance is not important. Up to 15 m of piping can be made and efficiency can be obtained. The important thing is to choose the right fan.
